It takes intelligence to recognize intelligence.
If what you say is intelligent, then few will recognize it as such.
If what you say is stupid or politically correct, then many will recognize it as intelligent.
If what you say is rude, crude, cheap, or critical, then many will recognize it as intelligent.
There is intelligence that is recognized after its time, but the ideas expressed by that intelligence remain mostly misunderstood and misinterpreted.
