“Cause” and “effect” are linguistic tools that help us to describe some of what we see.
Science reifies “cause” and “effect” into superstitious forces of nature.
No one can hand you a “cause” like they can hand you an apple, because “cause” is a concept, not a reality.
While helpful concepts, “cause” and “effect” can be used to oversimplify and to overgeneralize to the point of the misinterpretation and misrepresentation of events, facts, and situations.
