  4. Detachment is understood as abstract distancing, aloofness, disinterest, dispassion, impartiality, indifference, objectivity, open-mindedness, and a scientific attitude.
  5. We try to solve our psychological problems with our psychological problems. Our psychological problems exist as semantic-objects, and we try to fight and fix them with more semantic-objects.

Don’t Argue with Fools & Mean People: 05-18-2025

  1. Liberal Hypocrisy: “Your rules don’t exist, but my exceptions to the norms and standards are rules.”
  2. Many people should not be engaged with or taken seriously because they will argue that your black dog is not a black dog without any intention of agreement or mutual understanding.
  3. People live in different internal worlds, and often, when they argue, they do not share an accurate account of their own world, have any interest in seeing the other’s world, and want to present the other’s world in a negative light without even first experiencing it.
  4. Many people should not be engaged with or taken seriously because they claim there are no rules, but simultaneously propose a rule based on exceptions instead of the majority of cases to force destructive, false, and unrealistic changes to society.
  5. Understand the intention of the person you are talking with. If they intend to manipulate you, divert the conversation and remove yourself. If they intend to prove themselves right and you wrong, divert the conversation and remove yourself. If they intend to sow discord and resentment, divert the conversation and remove yourself. If they intend to whine, blame, and damn to gain power, then divert the conversation and remove yourself.
