1. If you don’t face the ugliness within, you will lead a fake and phony life.
2. If you don’t face the ugliness within, you will never understand the need to surrender to God.
3. If you don’t face the ugliness within, you will seek false promises of being better than others when you are them.
4. If you don’t face the ugliness within, you will never understand that the evil you see in others is an expression of your nature.
5. If you don’t face the ugliness within, you will continue to pretend you are getting better while covering and excusing your evil feelings, thoughts, and deeds.
