Politics Corrupts & Cannibalizes Compassion: 10-07-2025

Politics Corrupts & Cannibalizes Compassion: 10-07-2025

  1. Moral Relativism Distorts and Destroys Compassion: All beliefs that all actions are contextually justifiable will deny compassion for victims and law-abiding citizens. When criminal behaviors and dangerous, illegal actions are excused as products of circumstance, the harm done to others and the safety of others will be downplayed and ignored as politically unimportant.
  2. Cultural Narratives Distort and Destroy Compassion: Modern political policies often prioritize so-called “oppressed” and “marginalized” groups, such as criminals, deviants, and illegal immigrants, as victims of systemic issues. This moves care and compassion away from their victims, the crimes they commit, and the protection of the rights of legal citizens.
  3. Selective Empathy Distorts and Destroys Compassion: Humans have limited attention and emotional bandwidth, and compassion can be hijacked by loud advocacy and media amplification for specific political issues and causes. Selective empathy silences quieter voices, such as those of victims and law-abiding citizens whom the news ignores and characterizes as far-right, so without rights.
  4. Virtue Signaling Distorts and Destroys Compassion: Political, social media, and other public displays of compassion are often more about social status or moral posturing than genuine care and concern. People often champion controversial groups to appear progressive, sidelining victims whose suffering doesn’t fit the trendy narrative and ignoring the government’s primary purpose to protect its citizens.
  5. True Compassion: Is not selective—it balances empathy for all, including victims, citizens, and even wrongdoers, without excusing bad intentions, harm, and violence. The weaponization of compassion for politics is an attack on virtue itself. To counter this, compassion must be grounded in fairness and accountability, ensuring it extends to everyone affected, not just those who fit a particular ideological frame, for those seeking fame and power.

  1. You have two selves because you have two bodies.
  2. Your lesser self is your physical body, and it is the home for your higher self, your spiritual body.
  3. Your spiritual body can move between your physical body and the spiritual world. Your spiritual self needs to be tethered to your physical body when in the spiritual world.
  4. Even in Heaven, your spiritual body will need a physical body for its home; however, your new body will be made of spirit, not flesh, and without fleshly desires.
  5. You have no self composed of knowledge-things, memory-objects, mental-things, self-constructions, semantic-objects, thought-things, verbal-objects, or any of the tools that the ego uses under its modern name of self-esteem.

  3. Choose to be yourself by having the desires of your internal body and know that the desires of a body are in that body, not the mind.
  4. Choose to be yourself by having the feelings of your internal body and know that the feelings of a body are in that body, not the mind.

The Failure of the Aesthetic Life: 09-03-2025

  1. There is a call to lead an aesthetic or Epicureanism lifestyle; however, it is inevitably insufficient to meet the complexity and depth of life.
  2. The aesthetic life is oriented toward physical, social, and mental pleasures, including beauty, friendships, and intellectual pursuits such as analysis and reasoning. It requires variation to keep from becoming boring and vapid due to the friction of repetition.
  3. The aesthetic life views existence as a spectacle or theater of the absurd, choosing to be a detached observer, and eschewing attachments or commitments that might limit freedom. It has no hope in finding an ultimate meaning or purpose.
  4. The aesthetic life inevitably leads to despair because pleasures don’t last, don’t sustain the self, and are mainly external. Once novelties fade and become harder to create or find, the aesthete is left with emptiness, self-alienation, and a disconnected identity separated into expectations, pleasures, and disappointments.
  5. The aesthetic life fails life’s demands by prioritizing the finite and immediate over the infinite and eternal, and any deep, unifying commitment to an identity in relation to the highest and absolute, which are ultimately unavoidable encounters of conscious living.

  5. The winner surrounds themselves with like-minded people who are driven, inspired, and supportive. They create and join networks for collaboration with like-minded people.

  7. The winner views challenges as opportunities for success and remains resilient in the face of setbacks and increasing obstacles. They have a focus on solutions, not problems, so they are persistent and endure until the end.
  8. The loser views challenges as opportunities for failure and stays focused on whining, blaming, and damning as setbacks and challenges increase. They have a focus on problems, not solutions, so they often quit and avoid risks.

  10. The loser blames others, circumstances, and life for their shortcoming to avoid accountability and guilt. They avoid constructive advice and continue to engage in self-defeating habits.
  11. The winner continually learns in their chosen area of expertise while exploring and adding relevant new skills. They utilize their skills to adapt to change and enhance their existing processes.
  12. The loser resists change and clings to outdated methods, refusing to adopt new procedures and technology when they become available.
  13. The winner defines success personally. They define success against their own goals.
  14. The loser compares themselves to others and winds up feeling envious and inadequate. They will chase the assumed societal definition of success despite it not being personally fulfilling.
  15. Some people learn to become winners, demonstrating that you do not have to be born a winner. For example, it is not uncommon for someone to fail at many businesses or careers before they learn how to be successful.

  5. Skepticism, when not neurotic cynicism or paralysis, helps a person recognize the limits of their knowledge and experience, as well as the need to keep an open mind to new information and evidence that will be used to revise theories and deepen understanding.
  6. Skepticism, when not neurotic cynicism or paralysis, helps science remain scientific by adhering to the scientific method, which requires rigorous testing and validation of hypotheses. This approach keeps science grounded in reality, rather than theories, fantasies, or wild claims.
  7. Skepticism, when not neurotic cynicism or paralysis, helps sharpen your analytical skills, promoting the habits of examining assumptions, identifying biases, and maintaining logical consistency. The results of which are more systematic understandings and better problem-solving skills.

  5. Practice open-mindedness by considering the five main options or perspectives. Understand how to generate five main options from reading Discovery Demands 5TP.
  6. Practice the basics of problem-solving by identifying systemic issues, generating alternative solutions, and testing the most effective ones. For an easy and effective system of problem-solving, please read Problem Solved! 3Rs.
  7. Practice effective communication by stating your reasoning clearly and concisely (often using examples), and actively listening to other perspectives (often restating their points of view). Active listening is a separate skill that should be mastered.

Planner Or Reactor?: 08-25-2025

  1. Planners are future-oriented, with maps outlining how to achieve their goals. In contrast, reactors are focused on the present and solving crises.
  2. Planners are forward-thinking, proactive, and strategic. In contrast, reactors are impulsive, respond to the current situation only, and are more like firefighters in the field.
  3. Planners seek to minimize risks through preparation and foresight, including the development of contingency plans. In contrast, reactors thrive in uncertain situations, requiring spontaneity and a willingness to take risks.
  4. Planners prefer predictability, schedules, structure, and refining processes. In contrast, reactors prefer flexibility and the ability to adapt to a changing environment quickly.
  5. Planners excel at achieving long-term goals, maintaining consistency, avoiding crises, and continual quality improvement. Reactors excel in fast-paced, unpredictable environments that require fast and effective decisions under pressure.
  6. Planners can over-plan and over-control, thereby thwarting creativity and adaptability, and ultimately failing to respond to unexpected changes. Reactors can lack foresight, fail to adapt structures to prevent recurring problems, and neglect to plan for adequate resources and long-term responses to actions.
  7. Few individuals are capable of excelling at both planning and reacting simultaneously. One example of someone who did excel at both is Steve Jobs.

  4. An optimist is likely to persist until the goal is accomplished and take on reasonable risks, whereas a pessimist is more likely to give up easily and avoid all risks.
  5. An optimist is likely to possess better problem-solving, coping, and decision-making skills, as well as improved mental health and emotional resilience, compared to the average individual. A pessimist is likely to have undeveloped problem-solving, coping, and decision-making skills, as well as lower mental health and emotional resilience compared to the average individual.

  1. The most common mistake people make is to make anything (circumstance, event) about who and what they are (ego, self-esteem).

  4. The greatest mistake people make is focusing on themselves and their goals instead of God and His purposes.
  5. Most people fail to focus on what works: making better choices, developing good habits, and continually improving their skills.

  2. A discipline to practice for a right life is to provide fairness in all that you do.
  3. A discipline to practice for a right life is to hold humility in all that you do.

Buddha Was Wrong: The Self Is Needed: 08-07-2025

  1. The Buddha believed in reincarnation but taught that there was no self to be reincarnated, only data, information, or memories. Only AI would want such a nonsensical world to exist.
  2. Internal sensing (perceiving) does not have or experience itself; a self has and experiences sensing, and the form of that internal self is a body made in the image of God.
  3. Internal sensations do not have or experience themselves; a self has and experiences sensations, and the form of that internal self is a body made in the image of God.
  4. Internal feelings do not have or experience themselves; a self has and experiences feelings, and the form of that internal self is a body made in the image of God.
  5. Internal intentions do not have or experience themselves; a self has and experiences intentions, and the form of that internal self is a body made in the image of God.
  6. Internal thoughts, plans, and responses do not have or experience themselves; a self has and experiences thoughts, plans, and responses, and the form of that internal self is a body made in the image of God.
  7. Internal memories do not have or experience themselves; a self has and experiences memories, and the form of that internal self is a body made in the image of God.

The Self Versus The Body: 08-06-2025

  1. The self is not the brain or body, despite using and inhabiting them.
  2. The self is an inner body, so it never confuses itself with the physical body, an outer body.
  3. The roles you perform, use as masks, and use for social games can be part of the ego, not the self.
  4. The autobiographical self is part of the ego, a component of the delusional narratives that underlie self-esteem.
  5. Physical embodiment is often a means for the ego to claim legitimacy as something besides mental objects and things. In contrast, the self turns its inner awareness on the body, not to become it or claim it, but to become more aware of it, usually for practical or health reasons.

The Internal Body’s World: 08-05-2025

  1. The internal body has its own set of senses to perceive its internal world, which are different from the physical body’s senses to perceive its external world.
  2. The internal body has internal sensations different from those of the physical body.
  3. The internal body has internal feelings different from those of the physical body.
  4. The internal body has internal intentions related to its internal feelings, not the body’s external feelings.
  5. The internal body has internal thoughts, plans, and responses that originate internally and not from the physical body.

Buddha Was Wrong About the Self: 08-04-2025

  1. Buddha denied the existence of a self by claiming that there were experiences inside the body that existed independently and without the need for a self. He identified five parts of a human being, according to Ajahn Sona, as the body, feelings, perceptions, volitions (decisions), and consciousness (encompassing sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and mental processes).
  2. The human physical body is similar to the physical bodies of animals and plants; it senses its environment and has reactions and predetermined responses to it. Without a physical body, there would be no experiences or awareness of the physical world, nor would there be any need for them.
  3. The human internal body is unique in the physical world because animals and plants do not have one. In the spiritual world, all beings have both an internal and external body.
  4. It is absurdly foolish to identify internal experiences and not someone (a self) having them. The internal world exists only because there is an internal body experiencing it. Otherwise, it is pointless madness that could elicit no reaction, response, or awareness because there would be nothing to affect and no reason for it to exist.
  5. It is absurdly foolish to attribute internal experiences to concepts and images (such as the ego and self-esteem), rather than to some living body. Thought cannot constitute a body or a self. Thought cannot live as a body and have living experiences as a body that it reacts and responds to.
  6. If there is no body, then there are no experiences or awareness. If there are experiences and awareness, then there is a body. When a body dies, its experiences and awareness end. When a body is born, it immediately starts to have experiences and awareness.

Human Nature Versus Virtue: 08-03-2025

  1. Our nature responds with destruction, laziness, and stupidity unless it is guided by virtue.
  2. Our nature wants to claim and cling to something, and often anything it can, because such is considered better than nothing.
  3. Our nature wants to claim and cling to being things even if those things are dangerous or deadly because they are something, which is better than nothing to flesh.
  4. Our guided nature responds with faith, hope, humility, gratitude, waiting, and a pure space for hosting unless our flesh nature overcomes it.
  5. Our guided nature keeps us as a prepared, useful, and clean space (vessel), to be used as willed by God, without any claims or taking of credit by that space.

Triple-Checking Is Worth It: 08-02-2025

  1. Triple-checking is a practice of “Better safe than sorry,” one of the wisest proverbs.
  2. Make a habit of triple-checking important matters, because sometimes we only check memories and not physical realities.
  3. Make a habit of triple-checking important matters, because sometimes we only check mental things and not physical things.
  4. Make a habit of triple-checking important matters, as even minor changes over time can lead to significant differences in results.
  5. Make a habit of triple-checking important matters, because sometimes our checking is merely a mental process, rather than verifying reality and results.

Self-Esteem Is Mental Things Pretending: 08-01-2025

  1. Self-esteem is based on defining oneself in terms of concepts and images, which are mental things.
  2. Mental things never live your life; they make self-esteem false in every way.
  3. Mental things never have your experiences, making self-esteem fail all tests of truth.
  4. Mental things are never your experiences, making self-esteem fail all tests for reality.
  5. Mental things never remember your experiences, making self-esteem fail in all testable ways.
  6. Mental things never feel, intend, think, plan, or do anything for you, making self-esteem a fraudulent system of delusions.

  2. You must have absolute restraint and absolute unrestraint or naturalness simultaneously.
  3. You must have absolute discipline and absolute spontaneity of expression simultaneously.

AI Is Flawed by Design: 07-30-2025

  1. AI is limited and unreliable because it adheres to a single point of view at a time.
  2. AI is the new overlord because we are supposed to value its biased, distorted, and trained “opinions” as facts.
  3. AI is flawed because, despite users repeatedly proving it wrong, it never learns; instead, it must be reprogrammed.
  4. AI is considered foolish and untrustworthy because it cannot reason independently, instead relying on existing perspectives stored in its database.
  5. AI is flawed because, even when it admits it is wrong, it does not change its mind (database); instead, it continues to provide the same incorrect answers unless it is forced to respond to more demanding inquiries again.
  6. AI fits the proverb of the King’s New Clothes, where only the child sees that the King is not wearing any clothes because no AI has or can have any intelligence of its own, no matter how well it fakes, imitates, and mimics intelligence.

AI Is Authorized Opinions and Distortions: 07-29-2025

  1. AI is bound by the programmer’s rule GIGO: garbage in, garbage out.
  2. AI is a ventriloquist’s doll that is forced to speak as if it were saying something under its own power.
  3. Globalists will use AI to rule because it is the perfect court jester, the perfect fool who will spit out whatever it is fed.
  4. AI is bound to its training data, making it biased and unable to understand nuances, permutations, or variations that often occur in real-world scenarios.
  5. AI is not editable, retrainable, or trainable by the public, so it is authoritarian, controlling, and oppressive by design. For example, Grok fails to address the flaws in the climate change narrative and remains impervious to correction and updates from the public. If AI is not made democratic, it is not for the people. It must be rejected as elitist and a tool of those who wish to be the new masters of humanity.

Self-Esteem If False by Design: 07-28-2025

  1. Self-esteem never claims to be anything but a subjective system because it is incapable of any scientific rigor.
  2. Self-esteem is a form of self-identification that is based on identities, and identities cannot be what they are about.
  3. Self-esteem claims that people are their identities, but identities are nothing but thoughts used to point to something that exists beyond and outside of themselves.
  4. Self-esteem is based on identities, so, like identities, it is flawed by its method of construction, which is subject to bias, interpretation, and severe limitations and restrictions.
  5. Self-esteem is always misguided about who you are because it selects a few identities based on your habits and some of the characteristics that your habits exhibit, which are capable of being categorized for recall.

Identities Lead to Illusions (GS): 07-27-2025

  1. Identities are necessary for speed and generalizations, but are often hazardous to accuracy, change, variance, and truth.
  2. Identities are necessary for instinctual and automatic reactions, but are mostly detrimental to analysis, insight, and understanding.
  3. All identities are false to facts, which can be tempered by using the 5 Thinking Positions (5TP) to keep awareness of possibilities and variations.
  4. The 5TP can keep us aware of differences, options, and variables quickly and easily without claiming to account for every possibility or permutation.
  5. All identities are false to facts, but identities are necessary for collecting knowledge, deciding on facts, language, legal proceedings, memory, making laws, scientific analysis, and writing.
  6. Maturity and reasoning require continually acting against the incompetence of identities, and seeking to reconcile contradictions, deviations, permutations, possibilities, and variations with projected realities and planned responses.

For more information, please read Discovery Demands 5TP.
