Face the Evil Within: 10-10-2025

1. You need courage to face your human nature (animalistic instincts, alter ego, base desires, bestial drives, carnal desires, dark side, death drive, death instinct, death wish, desires of the flesh, evil side, evil twin, human depravity, internal critic, internal ugliness, low desires, negative self-talk, primal urges, negative voices, raw instincts, self-defeating desires, self-destruction, shade self, shadow self, Thanatos, ugliness, will of the flesh, worst impulses) and to choose against it.
2. You need loyalty to your ethics (principles) to face your human nature and choose to follow God instead.
3. You need a commitment to honesty with yourself to face your human nature and its path of death and destruction: “To this above all: to thine own self be true.” —Willian Shakespeare, Hamlet
4. You need integrity of self (coherence, completeness, solidity, soundness, wholeness) to insist on seeing everything inside, including the destructive desires of your human nature.
5. Suppressing your human nature can backfire because it also suppresses any positive or constructive forces it is attached or connected to, such as creativity, intelligence, intuition, skill, talent, understanding, and more.
