1. The ego blocks the receptors for intelligence because the ego is built on claiming.
2. The ego blocks creativity, insight, inspiration, and intuition because the ego claims to know.
3. Practice passive and direct observation, and you will be a host (vessel) open to receiving the new and profound.
4. When you are stuck or experiencing a mental block, realize that it is your ego trying, and when your ego tries, it all fails.
5. Free yourself from the ego trying to know by meditating, praying, walking, or doing yoga; you will find creativity, insight, inspiration, and intuition arriving on their own.
