- (1) Blocked modeling of same sex parent. You naturally follow your same sex parent to learn how to live in the world. The usual exceptions are if you only have an opposite sex parent and no acceptable same sex role model, or you feel compelled to reject following your same sex parent (various reasons).
- (2) Sensations of same sex. Experience attractive same sex people.
- (3) Reframe reality. Falsely interpret same sex sensations as causing desire (sexual procreation drive).
- (4) Reverse nature. Focus procreation drive on same sex targets.
- (5) Reinforce procreation drive with life force. Make your interest into a passion by putting your life energies behind it.
- (6) Claim it is natural. Find excuses and rationalizations for the perversion of your procreation drive.
- (7) Claim sex is love. Sex is desire. Sex can be coupled with love, but the drive for sex is desire, not love.
- Generally, homosexuality occurs when the procreation drive is thwarted from focusing on the opposite sex, so it reverts to focusing on the same sex. However, some practice homosexuality or bisexuality for social approval.
