3. Finding yourself requires giving up all the gains your self-esteem has made because they are all deceptions or delusions.
4. Finding yourself requires giving up the maintenance of all the appearances your self-esteem (ego) has collected to wall itself safely inside.
5. Finding yourself requires that you stop pretending you are good or are becoming good, repent of your evil human nature, and seek to be under God, not self.
