- How do you overcome the problem of good and evil?
- The simple trick in Eastern mysticism is to stop trying to be like the good energy inside and to claim that you are the good energy inside (identify with it rather than yourself).
- There is the host, the good, and the desire to be, know, and do the good. It is this desire to be, know, and do the good that leads to your serving a mix of good and evil as your flesh tries to do good and fails, leaving only a portion for the good to do.
- In Eastern mysticism, the duality of the good versus the self is overcome by claiming that the self is the good. This lie pleases the ego and stops you from interfering with or struggling with the good. Any good actions are now used to claim that your self-esteem (ego, self-concepts, self-images) is the good (allness, atman, bodhi, cosmic consciousness, enlightenment, God, liberation, oneness, moksha, nirvana, universal self, universal soul, universe).
- You cannot overcome the problem of good and evil. The good news is that the Lord Jesus Christ did overcome the problem of good and evil, and you partake of that overcoming through His death and resurrection.
