Your Act of Faith Cannot Save You: 11-07-2025

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” —Ephesians 2:8

1. You cannot claim salvation by any act of faith because it is the gift of God.
2. You cannot claim salvation by any act of belief because it is the gift of God.
3. You cannot claim salvation by any act of works because it is the gift of God.
4. You cannot claim salvation by any combination of faith, belief, and works because it is the gift of God.
5. Claiming salvation by an act of faith is sinning because faith comes through the grace of God, not you first seeking God, but God first seeking you.
6. To make any claim to do any good denies that you are born of flesh and need God to save you from yourself through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
