Seven Capital or Social Virtues: 11-20-2025

1. Chastity is still one of the seven capital virtues, even though its opposite, lust, is being promoted for women as freedom instead of as debauchery.
2. Temperance is still one of the seven capital virtues, even though its opposite, gluttony (never satiated), is being promoted by social media.
3. Charity is still one of the seven capital virtues, even though its opposite, greed (overconsumption), is promoted by social media.
4. Diligence is still one of the seven capital virtues, even though its opposite, sloth, is being promoted by politicians who need the votes of those they keep in poverty.
5. Kindness is still one of the seven capital virtues, even though its opposite, envy, is being promoted by social media and so-called influencers.
6. Patience is still one of the seven capital virtues, even though its opposite, wrath, is being promoted by politicians who need the votes of those they keep in poverty by keeping them angry at all the wrong causes.
7. Humility is still one of the seven capital virtues, even though its opposite, pride, is being promoted by educators who honor and teach the methods of failure over success.
